Frequently Asked Questions

How do I go about chartering a yacht?

All charter bookings are based on a first come first served basis with receipt of completed booking documents and full payment made. To avoid any disappointment, please book at least 1 month in advance. F&B orders have to be made 7 working days before the charter date.

What does the charter rate include?

All charter rates include usage of the yacht, a Skipper, crew member(s) and fuel for the duration of the charter. The number of crew member varies from yacht to yacht.

What are the payment terms?

Full payment is required for confirmation of any charters or F&B orders. We accept payment via Credit Card or Bank Transfer.

What are the boarding procedures on the day of charter?

Once the charter has been confirmed, necessary documents completed and full payment made, our team will issue an Event Confirmation Letter to you. The Letter will include the full information required for embarkation including the designated meeting point and point of contact.

Meeting point will be outside of WOK°15 Kitchen (located at Level 1 of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove),unless stated otherwise.

What should I bring for the yacht charter?

Wear light clothes and easily removable footwear (all our yachts have a strict no-shoes onboard policy). We also do recommend bringing your own sunscreen, sunglasses and hat for Day time charters.

Do bring along your own towels, toiletries and change of clothes if you plan to get into the waters.

For those who are prone to motion sickness, please bring your own medication and take it an hour or two before going onboard.

What route will the yacht take during the charter?

Charters consist of a combination of both cruise and anchor. Cruising destinations are to the Southern Islands (St John’s Island, Lazarus Island and Kusu Island), Sentosa and Marina City Skyline only. The yacht will anchor at/around Lazarus Island. Requests for other cruising destinations are up to the Captain’s discretion and fuel surcharges will apply.

What activities and equipment are available onboard?

The type of activities and equipments vary from yacht to yacht. Most yachts are equipped with a sound system which you can plug in with an AUX cable or Bluetooth. Some yachts provide the rental of a karaoke system, kayaks, stand-up paddles and fishing rods. Please check with our team for the availability of equipment and their relevant rental charges, if any.

Is cooking allowed onboard?

Cooking is not allowed onboard the yacht. However, some yachts are equipped with a BBQ pit and a crew member who will be able to assist with the barbecue. Please check with our team for the availability of the barbeque service and its charges.

Are shower facilities available onboard?

Most of our yachts are equipped with showering facilities for your usage during the charter. However, please bring along your personal towels and amenities.

Are outside food and beverages allowed onboard?

For ease of convenience, we highly recommend ordering your food and drinks with us as we will send the food and drinks onboard, with the full set of necessary cutlery, to the yacht 30 minutes before your charter.

Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks onboard. Pease bring along your own disposable cutlery, cups, napkin and ice as these are not provided by the yacht.

Relevant corkage charge will only be applicable if you’re intending to hire an external catering company to do a set up onboard. Please check with the sales team for the relevant cost.

Is a Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License (PPCDL) required to charter a yacht?

You do not need to hold a PPCDL as all our charter yachts come with a qualified Skipper and crew. At any time, only the Skipper is allowed to pilot the yacht.

What is the number of passengers allowed on board?

The maximum permissible number of passengers onboard a yacht varies from yacht to yacht. Every person, regardless of age (even babies and toddlers), will be numbered as a headcount. Our team will be most glad to recommend you a suitable yacht for your group size.

Are the Skipper and crew member(s) included in the passenger headcount?

The Skipper and crew member(s) are not included in the passenger headcount for your yacht charter. However, additional service staff or chef hired for the charter will have to be included in the passenger count.

What happens if it rains on the day of charter?

In the case of light rain, the charter will still proceed as per arranged. However, in a case of heavy rain or if the Skipper advises otherwise, you may postpone your charter to another available date. This will be assessed 30 minutes before your charter.

For pre-ordered F&B, we will arrange for you to takeaway. New orders will have to be made for the next postponed date. No refund will be provided.

What are the cancellation policies?

I have a PPDCL, can I charter the boat and drive it by myself?

All our charter boats are crewed charter, at the moment, we do not have any bareboat for charters.
